Horizon High School Bweyale opened in 2018. It is a secondary school for both boys and girls, located in Bweyale town council, Kiryandongo district, Uganda. We aim to offer the best education possible, while also focusing on helping our community.
Horizon High School is part of the ‘Compassion for Community’ project. It was started to help with the most urgent education needs in the area. In Uganda, education costs a lot, and many poor families and students cannot afford expensive schools. Horizon High School was set up to solve this problem, giving hope to those who need help getting an education.
This project truly changes lives, opening up new chances for people. When you support the education of less fortunate students, you help them gain important skills and knowledge. This allows them to get good jobs, support their families after school, and positively contribute to their communities. The school also helps students learn to think clearly, solve problems, and be creative – all key skills for dealing with today’s challenges. In the end, helping the most disadvantaged with education not only benefits them but also makes communities stronger and builds a brighter future for everyone
